We test every formula post-manufacturing to verify that what we formulated is what survived. If the active ingredients didn't make it through intact, neither does the product.

Every ingredient in every Wuffes formula is there for a specific, documented reason. No wheat, corn, soy or potato. No unnecessary binders or fillers. No artificial colours or flavourings.

Where flavouring is needed, we use whole food flavours such as pork liver, not synthetic alternatives or derivatives.

Nothing enters the formula without justification. Nothing is there to bulk out the product or reduce cost.

The industry's answer to palatability (taste) testing is laboratory dogs. Kept in controlled environments, used specifically for this purpose. We don't think that's the right way to do it, and we never have.

There are two reasons. Firstly, our tubs are matched to your dog's weight. Most brands sell one tub for every dog, which means a Chihuahua and a Great Dane get the same amount of active ingredients. Ours scales with size; 730mg per scoop for a small dog up to 2,920mg for a giant. So you're not paying for a one-size-fits-all tub, you're paying for the right amount for your dog. Every tub is 30 scoops. That works out to just over a dollar a day for a small dog. And the bigger sizes are better value the further up you go.

The second is the ingredient itself. Most dental powders are built on kelp, which is widely available and cheap. SuperYolk™ IgY Technology is proprietary to Wuffes; a precision-developed antibody that targets the enzyme behind the problem rather than working at the surface. This is a highly concentrated ingredient and expensive to produce.

One scoop over food, or mixed in. Can be given during or after mealtime.

Almost every other dental powder is built on the same seaweed (Ascophyllum nodosum kelp) usually with sodium hexametaphosphate and a probiotic. They are great ingredients but only work at the surface, softening and slowing plaque via saliva.

SuperYolk™ is a completely different mechanism. It targets gingipain, the enzyme produced by the bacteria behind the majority of serious canine dental issues. This supports a root-cause effect, not just surface level.

We totally get wanting the best for your mama-to-be! Since our supplements haven’t been tested on pregnant or nursing dogs, we recommend checking with your vet first to make sure it’s the safest choice for her and her pups.

My dog ate the whole tub—what now?

Don’t panic—we know pups can be sneaky snackers! If your dog polished off an entire tub of our Advanced Hip & Joint Support (as long as it's made for their weight), they should be just fine. You might notice some mild symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, or an upset tummy.

If they got into more than one tub, a tub for a different weight or symptoms last longer than 24 hours, it’s best to check in with your vet just to be safe. And of course, we’re here if you need us!

In the case of our 23-in-1 Multivitamin, certain vitamins (such as Vitamin D3) can cause toxicity in large doses. If you think they’ve eaten too much, it’s always best to be safe and speak to your vet.

Our supplements are built to work together, so you can stack our everyday formulas alongside a balanced diet with no issue. If your dog is already taking another supplement or a prescription medication, talk to your vet before combining.
