We want Wuffes Dental Powder to work for as many dogs as possible – so if yours has sensitivities, here's the full picture. Dental Powder contains egg (egg yolk–derived IgY) and beef (Beef Bone Broth Powder). If your dog has a known egg or beef sensitivity, we'd recommend checking with your vet before use.

We use safe, well-tolerated ingredients - however, if your dog consumes more than the recommended daily serving for their weight, they may experience mild digestive upset. There’s two reasons. Firstly, our tubs are matched to your dog's weight. Most brands sell one tub for every dog, which means a Chihuahua and a Great Dane get the same amount of active ingredients. Ours scales with size; 730mg per scoop for a small dog up to 2,920mg for a giant. So you're not paying for a one-size-fits-all tub, you're paying for the right amount for your dog. Every tub is 30 scoops. That works out at just over a dollar a day for a small dog. And the bigger sizes are better value the further up you go. 

The second is the ingredient itself. Most dental powders are built on kelp, which is widely available and cheap. SuperYolk™ IgY Technology is proprietary to Wuffes; a precision-developed antibody that targets the enzyme behind the problem rather than working at the surface. This is a highly concentrated ingredient and expensive to produce.

IgY (Immunoglobulin Y) is a natural antibody found in egg yolk. Hens are exposed to a specific target, naturally develop antibodies, and those antibodies transfer into the yolk. The eggs are collected as normal and the yolk is gently spray-dried into a stable, bioactive powder. The technology has been researched and developed for over three decades.

Gingipain is the No.1 enzyme behind serious dental problems, produced by the bad bacteria in your dog's mouth. It's what allows those bacteria to do damage and establish themselves.

It does three things: damages gum tissue to create space for bacteria to colonise deeper, provides a nutrient source that feeds the wider biofilm, and interferes with the immune system's ability to respond.

Dental Powder is clinically tested to precision-target and neutralize it.

Almost every other dental powder is built on the same seaweed (Ascophyllum nodosum kelp) usually with sodium hexametaphosphate and a probiotic. They are great ingredients but only work at the surface, softening and slowing plaque via saliva.

Our Dental Powder is shelf stable and can be stored at room temperature in its original container for up to 3 months once opened. Keep tightly closed when not in use, away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. Do not introduce moisture to the container. Discard any powder that becomes damp, clumped, or shows visible oil separation.
