About Not One More Vet (NOMV)
The veterinary community faces an often-overlooked crisis: mental health. Studies consistently show that veterinarians and veterinary professionals experience higher rates of stress, burnout, and even suicide compared to the general population. Despite their dedication to healing others, many vets struggle in silence.
NOMV exists to change that. Founded to provide mental health resources, crisis support, and peer networks, NOMV’s mission is simple but vital: ensure that no vet feels alone. Through community outreach, education, and professional resources, NOMV empowers veterinary professionals to prioritize their own wellness - just as they do for the animals in their care.
NOMV’s Race Around the World & Mental Health Awareness Month
Each year, NOMV hosts Race Around the World, a global event uniting veterinary professionals, students, pet parents, and allies in a shared commitment to raise awareness for veterinary mental health. Timed to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Month, the campaign invites participants to log miles - running, walking, cycling, swimming, and more - in honor of the lives and stories behind the cause.
This year, we joined the mission by sponsoring Dr. Joshua Rosen, a practicing veterinarian and passionate advocate for mental health in the profession. Dr. Josh took part in the race and used his platform to speak candidly about his experiences and the importance of NOMV’s work.

In collaboration with NOMV and Wuffes, Dr. Josh recorded a heartfelt video message to raise awareness of the mental health challenges facing veterinary professionals today. In it, he shares his personal journey, the support NOMV offers, and why this cause matters to him - and all of us.
