🚀 Your Role in the Pack:

As Middle Shopify Engineer, you’ll help scale and optimise our DTC storefronts through clean, high-performance code and smart experimentation. You’ll own front-end delivery across key site experiences, shipping fast, iterating often and obsessing over both speed and stability.

This is a hands-on role for a proactive developer who thrives in fast-moving environments. You’ll work closely with Product, Growth and Creative to bring conversion-driven ideas to life while ensuring technical quality and smooth UX across all devices.

📒 Your Responsibilities

• Build Modular Shopify Components – Develop scalable, responsive Shopify OS 2.0 sections using clean, reusable code
• Optimise Site Speed & Performance – Own theme performance and implement strategies to improve load times, stability and Lighthouse scores
• Integrate APIs & Custom Logic – Power the storefront with dynamic content, third-party integrations and business-specific features
• Maintain Technical Quality – Conduct code reviews, QA your work, and uphold front-end best practices
• Own Your Workstreams – Deliver features from brief to deployment with minimal hand-holding and high accountability
• Collaborate Across Functions – Work tightly with design, product, growth and creative to ship impactful UX and UI updates
• Iterate Fast – Launch, test, and refine components quickly, bringing an experimentation mindset to development

🧠What You Bring

• 3+ years of front-end or full-stack experience, with a strong focus on Shopify
• Deep experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating
• Proficiency in Shopify Online Store 2.0, including Dawn-based or custom themes
• Understanding of performance optimisation, from lazy loading to efficient asset management
• Familiarity with Git workflows and modern dev tools
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• A commercial mindset – you understand how code impacts conversion, UX and business metrics
• Bonus: Exposure to modern frameworks (React, Angular), headless Shopify builds or working within DTC growth teams
